About our family—and why we built chalkcloset.com

Hi! We’re the Andersons—Brian (resident tech tinkerer), Ashley (legendary leo hunter-seller), and our girls, Kaitlyn and Emily. We’re a gymnastics family through and through, and like a lot of families in the sport, our closets started filling up with beautiful leotards that had plenty of life left in them.

The spark

Ashley spent years buying and selling leos in social media groups. It worked… until it didn’t. Posts got buried, rules changed without warning, deals fell through, and the drama sometimes overshadowed the joy of the sport. We wanted something simpler, safer, and built for this community—not bolted onto a platform that wasn’t.

So we created chalkcloset.com: a clean, no-nonsense marketplace where gym families can buy and sell leotards (and related gear) without the noise. Think of it as the place your favorite leos go when they’re ready for their second routine.

What we believe
